This course is recommended for those who are interested to work on IT related jobs. It is designed to teach the basic skills for anyone to be able to use a PC computer. The course looks at both the hardware aspect of working with a computer as well as the latest Windows operating system.
Learning Goals:
- Discuss the different hardware components of a computer
- Explain different terminology for computer hardware
- Explore the Windows operating system
- Build folders and files
- Move folders and files, compress files
- Discuss file types
- Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Prerequisite: Knowledge of Typing, experience using Windows, and a Web browser.
Duration: 6 weeks (2 day/week)
